Performance Request Form

Initial Request to perform at the CBSF. Submit the following Team information

1. a. Group Name
b. Where from?
c. Short Bio and Director/s names, What style of dance you want to perform?
e. Link to video of performance. Or, if working on a new routine, send video of former routine/s.
f. Routine for CBSF should not exceed 3 minutes.
g. Must be able to perform at any time starting Thursday night – Saturday night of the festival.
h. Individuals are not allowed to perform more than 3 times throughout the festival.
i. Teams/couples are allowed a maximum of 2 shows at the CSBF.
2. Wait for confirmation email from CBSF. If approved. Then go to the next step.
3. Team Registration and Payment:
Deadline is Aug 1st, $100 per dancer. Aug 1st - Aug 7th fee per dancer goes up to $120.
a. One payment transaction for the entire team.
b. List of all performers is required at time of payment.
c. 1st and 2nd Contact person is required.
d. If payment is not received by Aug 7th. Your team/couple will be taken out of the line-up. No exceptions.
4. Once approved and payment has been made, continue the registration process by submitting music.
a. Submit copy of music via email on mp3 format 320kb format by Aug 1st.
b. Bring back up music on a Thumb/Flash Drive to tech rehearsal. (NO CD)
5. Final confirmation will be sent to contacts once all of the registration has been completed.

With your help it will be a ground breaking event and we would like to thank you in advanced for your dedicated involvement. These are the details you need to know as a Volunteer: Option # 1: 12 Hours of Volunteering = 1 FREE Full Festival Pass. Option # 2: 6 Hours of Volunteering = $100 Full Festival Pass

WHAT TYPE OF VOLUNTEER POSITIONS ARE AVAILABLE?

The Festival begins on Aug 18th and ends on Aug 21st. 1. Set Up & Decoration: You will help set up and decorate for the event. (Evening of Aug 18th, Morning of Aug 21st) 2. Registration: You will help register attendees to the event. (9am -3am) 3. Security: You will check for wristbands at the door. (9:30 am- 3am) 4. CBSF Vendor Booth: You will sell CBSF merchandise. (12pm-12am) and more... I would like to volunteer what’s the next step? Booth space is 10’ x10’ with a 6 foot table and two chairs. Draping will be provided by the Charlotte Bachata & Salsa Fest and is included in your booth rental fee. Additional tables and Electricity may be rented –please note on the registration form if you require extra tables or chairs. Booth assignments will be posted in the venue lobby with set-up beginning no earlier than 3:00 pm on Friday. All booth preparations should be completed by 5:00 pm.
